It started as such a beautiful little rain cell... a cluster of convection with its sights set on a desperately rain barren soil in South Georgia. Trajectory was perfect, trending in my direction. It was going to drop that long awaited, much over-dew precipitation on us, right here.Still approaching, losing some of it's solid appearance, but still looking somewhat promising to the unsuspecting eye. That's when it all started to happen. Silly Dew got excited, thinking that this little cell had somehow broken through, threw the curse to the wind and decided to grace this dry, dry land with desperately needed, dare I say, rain.It was crazy to think that, because one thing that has remained constant over the last 40 forevers is that if Dew is there, rain is not, so as was inevitable...That promising little convective cell began to fall apart, until...Nothing remained... and absolutely, positively, not one drop of rain fell (well, I take that back; hubby felt 3 whole drops of rain). There I go again, scaring the rain away.
Sorry, South Georgia... Seriously, I thought it was Rick. I know better now. :-(

Yep, that's it exactly, Mike... I'm saving all my storm chasing mojo for the big chase! Sure would be nice to get some rain here though...
Your gonna do good, the weather will cooperate and you will be Hollywood bound before you know it!
Optimism works for me.
