severe weather statement national weather service jacksonville fl 109 pm edt fri aug 22 2008 ...a tornado warning remains in effect until 130 pm edt for southeastern duval and central st. johns counties... at 110 pm edt...national weather service doppler radar continued to indicate a tornado. this tornado was located near bakersville...or 7 miles west of saint augustine...moving north at 29 mph. other locations in the warning include but are not limited to south ponte vedra beach...durbin...guana river state park...sawgrass and palm valley.
