On Sunday November 1, 2009 a picnic was held at Oak Mountain State Park, just South of Birmingham, Alabama. It was a nice gathering of CWG (Cool Weather Geeks) which included 3 members of the Southern Weather Brigade (Rick Lipscomb, Mike Wilhelm, and John Brown), J.B. Elliott and Bill Murray of ABC 33/40's Weather Blog, Alabamawx.com, and several more cool weather geeks!

Great CWG picnic, Mike! Way to take the iniative and plan it. Looks like a great time, even without the buns! I wish we could have been there. I would have seen to it that a team shot was captured. Next time!
