at 344 PM CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing penny size hail... and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located nearBaxter... or about 7 miles west of Cookeville... and moving east at15 mph.* The severe thunderstorm will be near... Cookeville by 355 PM CDT... Algood by 400 PM CDT... 7 miles northwest of Monterey by 415 PM CDT... This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path... prepare immediately for damaging winds... destructive hail... and deadly cloudto ground lightning.
