Yesterday's Rare Dryline Event in North Alabama

I had a little mini-chase with help from Dewdrop.

Filmed around Noon CT on 2/11/2009 on the north shore of the Tennessee River at the Decatur Boat Harbor in southern Limestone County, Alabama. The camera was aimed to the southwest. Winds were recorded over 50 miles per hour on a web cam in the same area.

Around 1 p.m. Tuesday 2/11/09 a strong but unusual gust front associated with a dry line approached Huntsville.

The river looks like the Chesapeake Bay does up here during one of our classic Nor'easters! Wind is still kicking here today, but not a cloud in the sky with strong High built in. Thanks for posting! The pics on the ABC Blog sit were good.
